It is always our preference that your realtor hold your earnest money. If you are not working with an agent, or your realtor does not hold earnest money, please follow the instructions below when submitting earnest money:
As a closing agent, licensed in the State of Indiana, all funds delivered to us must in compliance with I.C. 27-07-3.7 et. seq. This means we can only accept funds, including earnest money, as follows:
Amounts $500 or less: We can accept a personal check made payable to Partners’ Title Group, Inc.
Amounts $501 to $9,999.99: We can accept a cashier’s check made payable to Partners’ Title Group, Inc.
Amounts $10,000 or greater: Funds must be wired.
ACH ELECTRONIC TRANSFERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
If initiating a wire online, please confirm that it is not being sent via ACH transfer since these are not in compliance with the Indiana Good Funds Statute. ACH transfer funds will be returned which may cause significant delays in your closing.
Please mail checks to Partners’ Title Group, Inc., 206 E. Market Street, Crawfordsville, IN 47933. Please include your name, phone number and the property address the earnest money is to be applied to. Please call our office for wiring instructions.
